What is "TopperFella"?

The original spark that became TopperFella was an inside joke within Jody Richards Hall. A smaller version of this 3D model was printed in resin and hidden within JRH. People latched onto the idea, a name was chosen, and the Instagram page launched. Since then, TopperFella has become a campus-wide phenomenon.

TopperFella began on November 10, 2023 with a few GrayFellas being distributed daily in Jody Richards Hall, Downing Student Union, and the Commons. Initially the goal was to determine the feasibility of growing a social media page using only physical collectible advertisements and word of mouth, and to see if anyone would care about this peculiar little Fella. On February 16, 2024 RedFella Fridays were introduced, a weekly scavenger hunt for a single Rare Red TopperFella.

TopperFella began to gain momentum in October 2024 with the announcement of OrangeFella and PurpleFella. The response from fans was clear: more Fellas in more colors! Since then over 100 unique TopperFellas have been designed and/or printed.
